Playtimes By Isobel Fernandez Former Year 6
When I play out at Castleton Primary School, I have a wide range of games to play. There are 3 zones in the KS2 play Area:
Blue Zone for Small Games
Red Zone for Ball Games
Yellow Zone for Board Games and Colouring in.
There are lots of markings on the floor, Some to represent the 3 different zones and some to play on, For example we have an orange trail that flows through all the zones.
Our playtime snacks are very healthy, We can have fruit or a plain biscuit. Sometimes there is free fruit held in the library.
The KS1 playground is slightly different, but all rules are the same. Instead of markings on the floor, they have equipment to play on that is secured in to the ground as well as other equipment that both playgrounds have.
I like playing in the Blue Zone, because it is for small games such as Bulldog which is my favourite game. I also like racing games and tag. I prefer playing in groups than playing in pairs as you can make new friends. My best friend is Chloe Wilson and I like playing with her the most.
Welcome to the Jungle By Becky O'rourke Former Year 6
School is like a jungle for many reasons but the most obvious is there's the different "species" of people, For example there's the Football team, the girly girls that talk about doing there nails, the popular people who are friends with the football team and many others, But no matter what here at Castleton Primary you can always depend on your friends !
Sometimes school is great but there are the times when you wake up in the morning and just the thought of school makes you cry! but with all the fab teachers and fun lessons you're sure to find a way to cheer yourself up.
